I went skiing this weekend at the Faraya resort. It was a gorgeous day - the sun was shining, and the snow was fabulous until it got slushy from the sun. And even then it was still pretty great.
The Lebanese boast that you can ski and swim in the same day here. My ski buddy and mountain guide, a Lebanese friend, told me that one time when he was younger he actually did the ski/swim thing. I'd imagine you'd have to be young in order to have both the energy and interest in skiing and swimming in the same day.
The clouds were rolling in, and had just started to cover the mountain when it was time to go. Perfect timing!

Haha, cool! That's fun that you got to go skiing. And how lucky are you to have the clouds come just as you are leaving. Ahh...sunny ski days, they're the best.
beautiful and so fun! Oliver keeps asking if we can go skiing, even though there is no snow in California! I guess they will be really ready for winter next year! Looks like you are having a great time, I wish we could come visit!
First time I've read your blog in a bit - love the travel! Skiing looks great too. You are now part of the "I wish I could have gone with them" club this year, haha. Obviously not my ski year. As you know I sympathize with the stuff problem. Luckily we fit into our apartment mostly too. Love the pictures! Keep them coming!
